Both Ingrid & Arron have retired from the finance industry. They are keen gardeners, enjoy music, travelling, reading, good food & wine & meeting people.

The development of “Costalotta” was started as a retirement project.

Ingrid is a passionate gardener and the “green fingers” in the partnership. Arron is more at home with a hammer or concrete mixer and has completed all the landscaping construction work. In seven years they have developed the property from a bare section of gorse and long grass to the lovely home and extensive gardens you see today.

Both enjoy travelling and have travelled extensively both internationally and throughout New Zealand. They are only too happy to help you with travel suggestions.

When not in the garden or travelling overseas you will find

~ Arron out tramping. He has tramped/hiked extensively throughout New Zealand and also in Nepal. He is only too happy to help if you are looking at heading into the outdoors.

~ Ingrid is a keen shopper and can advise on where to find those special purchases in Palmerston North.

The property “Costalotta” was developed so that their many friends and family could regularly visit and enjoy the comforts of this lifestyle property. Getting into the Bed & Breakfast business was really by accident, to help out when there was a shortage of accommodation in Palmerston North.

Both enjoy meeting people and entertaining and found that providing Bed & Breakfast accommodation fitted very nicely into their lifestyle.
